The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office, will be Closed December 23rd, 24th & 26th for Christmas

December 30th & 31st, 2016 and January 2, 2017 for the New Year Observance

LOUISVILLE, KY (December 2016) – The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office and all its Motor Vehicle branch customer locations will be closed Friday, December 23rd, Saturday, December 24th and Monday, December 26th in observance of Christmas.

 ALL OFFICES & MOTOR VEHICLE BRANCHES WILL BE CLOSED December, 29, 2016 at 5:00 PM for Statewide Inventory.

The offices will also be closed Friday, December 30, 2016, Saturday, December 31st and Monday, January 2nd for the New Year. The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Automated Vehicle Information System (AVIS) statewide will be shut down on those days.

 The Deed Room located in Metro Hall will also be closed on Saturday, December 31, 2016.

Normal work hours will resume on Tuesday following each holiday at all customer branch offices from 8:30 AM– 4:30 PM, with extended hours until 6:30 PM on Tuesday at the West and Fairdale branches.
