All Offices And Branches will be Closed in Observance of Christmas and New Year Christmas Closing, December 23 – 24

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (12/13/2021): The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office—including all Motor Vehicle Branch locations—will be closed Thursday, December 23, 2021, and Friday, December 24, 2021, in observance of Christmas. The Deed Room no longer opens on Saturdays.

Branch locations will return to normal business hours on Monday, December 27, 2021. The Dixie, East and Highview Branches will have extended hours until 6:30 p.m. that day.

New Year Closing, December 30 – 31

The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office—including all Motor Vehicle Branch locations—will also be closed Thursday, December 30, 2021, and Friday, December 31, 2021, in observance of the New Year. The Deed Room no longer opens on Saturdays.

Branch locations will return to normal business hours on Monday, January 3, 2022. The Dixie, East and Highview Branches will have extended hours until 6:30 p.m. that day.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Automated Vehicle Information System (AVIS) will not be operational during these times.
