The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office has a property tax program that will allow Jefferson County residents to view all delinquent tax records dating back from 1999-2018 from the convenience of home or office.

The TaxMaster.net online service will save residents time in making several trips downtown and enable them to review their property tax information at their convenience.  The most accurate way to search for taxes is by parcel id, in addition, you can also search by address, and taxpayer name.  The program will also provide information on bills that have been purchased by a 3rd party and whether the lien on those bills has been released or if it is still active.

The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office have received the official list of 2018 current year delinquent taxes from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on April 15, 2019.  As in previous years, there will be a list of 2018 bills advertised in the newspaper; this year’s publication date will be on June 19, 2019.

Any amount due for taxes, fees and/or charges is subject to change and will be based on the current amount due at the time of payment.  Bills can be paid in person with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or can be paid by mail with certified check, cashiers check or money order.
